Tonic sends $7,800 to Water 1st from T-Shirt sales

Water 1st received $7,880 from Tonic for project work in Bangladesh and Honduras. The Bangladesh funding will be directed to the community of Demra, a slum on the outskirts of Dhaka. The funding for Honduras will go to the community of Chimisal, where 650 people will receive safe water, sanitation and hygiene education.

Tonic raised the money through online T-shirt sales. Tonic gave Water 1st a significant portion of the proceeds from each water themed T-shirt sold. Tonic is continuing its support of safe water through online merchandise sales.
