Water 1st receives $24,000 from SurveyMonkey.comSurveyMonkey.com, a Portland based company that provides its customers with online survey tools, contributed $24,000 to Water 1st to support our work in Bishikiltu, Ethiopia. SurveyMonkey donates a portion of its profits to important charitable causes. An article in the Chronicle of Philanthropy featuring the work of Water 1st caught the eye of SurveyMonkey’s Sr. VP Chris Finley. At the same time that Chris Finley was learning about Water 1st, his daughter was studying Ethiopia and some of its development challenges at school. That connection persuaded them to earmark SurveyMonkey’s contribution to the community of Bishikiltu, Ethiopia. As a result, Water 1st is the grateful recipient of $24,000.
