CARRY 5 Buzz Page

Everyone is getting very excited about the upcoming CARRY 5 Walk for Water. In fact, lots of kids (and grownups) have already registered, and many have created their own fundraising pages on our FirstGiving.com website.

Here we are in late April, and nearly $7,500 has been raised for people in need of safe drinking water on the CARRY 5 FirstGiving site already. That's incredible! Keep up the great work.

So many fun things are happening related to CARRY 5, we thought you'd want to know about a few of them. That's why we've made the CARRY 5 Buzz Page. Take a look at what other kids and grownups are doing for CARRY 5. You might get inspired, too.

Madrona Girl Scouts Group Hosts Spaghett Dinner for CARRY 5

Sophia and Alisha and the CARRY 5 Madrona Girl Scouts Team hosted a Spaghetti Dinner and raised $140 for Water 1st! Their CARRY 5 team fundraising total is now $486! The evening was held in honor of Sophia's Nana Consuelo Alvarado Ortiz who carried water for many years and her Great Abuelito Secundino Alvarado Garcia who dug the first clean water well in his town. Congratulations to the girls for organizing a wonderful evening!

Stella's YouTube Video

Stella Magnuson has created a YouTube video about CARRY 5, and she's added that link to her FirstGiving fundraising page. At last count, Stella has raised more than $800.00 for safe drinking water, and her YouTube video has more than 170 views. Way to go, Stella!

Madrona Girl Scouts Team Prepares for CARRY 5

The Madrona K–8 Girl Scouts and Brownies recently met and practiced carrying water, in order to get ready for the CARRY 5 Walk for Water. Their team, which has already raised over $200.00, is off to a great start!
