Arcadia Montessori School

Arcadia Montessori School in Tacoma, Washington, decided that instead of giving gifts for the holidays last year, they would give to others less fortunate. The school hosted a Winter Festival where students performed, sold treats, and gave a presentation about Water 1st and the need for clean water. They raised $875 for Water 1st. “We feel it is extremely important for the children to feel that it is their duty and responsibility as caring members of this planet to help others in need,” said Arcadia teacher Carmela Micheli.
