2008 Give Water • Give Life Film

Water 1st in India

This year's film starts off in India, where Water 1st visited in December, 2007. Our local partner organization, APS, is always eager to show us as many waterpoints and latrines as we can possibly fit in during the short time we have to visit. And of course we are eager to see them all as well. Come along as we travel down the Ganges River to villages on the islands of the Sunderbans, and meet the people who are being helped by your donations in India. See the India Film ––>

Water 1st in Ethiopia

The January, 2008 visit to Ethiopia by Water 1st was also our Ethiopian Water Tour, and the travelers were delighted to be on hand to inaugurate the Ilamu Muja water project, as well as to announce to the people of Bishi Kiltu that Water 1st will be funding their project in 2008.

Water 1st in Bangladesh

In March, 2008 Water 1st, along with 8 supporters, visited our projects in Bangladesh. Water 1st works in the slums of Dhaka, Bangladesh, where four million people live as squatters and slum dwellers. Most of these four million people have no access to safe drinking water or latrines. Water 1st works with our local partner organization, DSK, to correct this problem. See the Bangladesh Film ––>

Water 1st in Honduras

Water 1st visited Honduras in April, 2008, along with 4 supporters from the Laird Norton Family Foundation. We were on hand to inaugurate the Augua Calliente and the San Gabriel water projects. We also visited communities still waiting for projects. Come meet the people of Honduras and learn about their struggle to find clean drinking water.
