Donate in Someone’s Honor

Make a gift and dedicate it to a friend or family member. Your tax-deductible donation will help put communities on a path out of poverty.

We’ll mail them a personalized card informing them of your generosity. Cards feature photographs taken in actual Water 1st beneficiary communities.

For a gift of $5,000 or more, you can honor someone with a personalized plaque at a community water point. Contact Water 1st for more information.

Monthly Giving

Monthly or quarterly giving is a convenient way to support the work of Water 1st. Your gift of safe water throughout the year will bring safe drinking water to those in need – changing lives and saving lives.

Corporate Matching Gifts

Through corporate gift matching your employer can multiply your gift to Water 1st. Contact your company’s Human Resources Office to see if they offer gift matching. If your employer does offer this program, ask your Human Resources Office for a matching gift form. Complete this form and mail it with your donation to Water 1st International. Water 1st will then verify receipt of your gift and return the form to your company for matching funds. Email us for more information.

Donate Stocks or Securities

If you are interested in making a gift of stock to Water 1st, please notify Water 1st when you expect the gift to be made by contacting Kirk Anderson at 206-297-3024 or donate@water1st.org as well as the name and quantity of stocks to be donated.

This helps us ensure that your gift is received and processed according to your wishes. Your broker can transfer securities electronically into the Water 1st account at Charles Schwab. Ask your broker to include your name in the transaction description.
