DHAKA & CHITTAGONG

Funding from Water 1st has supported the implementation of 324 water projects benefiting 24,000 people in Bangladesh.

Water 1st is currently working to fund an additional 115 water systems, benefiting 8,600 people in the Demra, Kamrangir Char, and Pallabi slums of Dhaka, and the Halishahar and Bandar slums of Chittagong City.

Ethiopia

OROMIA REGION

Water 1st has completed two large projects in Ethiopia, providing safe water for nearly 8,000 people in over 20 villages.

A water and sanitation project is currently under construction in Kelecho Gerbi. When completed, this project will serve over 4,085 people living in eight villages.

SOUTHERN LEMPIRA

Funding from Water 1st has supported the implementation of five projects in Honduras, providing safe water, toilets, and hygiene education for nearly 1,100 people in six villages.

A large water and sanitation project to benefit four Honduran communities is currently under construction. When completed, this project will provide safe water and toilets for 800 people.
