Steve Crane's company specializes in international business and project development, marketing, and corporate relations, with special emphasis on Southeast Asia’s emerging economies. It is part of the EIU/Economist Corporate Network in Asia. Steve’s government and corporate relations work has included developing a world-wide host-country relations policy for NCR Corporation; rewriting the investment code for the Pacific Basin Economic Council; managing third-world community development issues for Weyerhaeuser Company; designing urban and rural development partnerships for the World Bank, U.S. AID and the Pacific Economic Cooperation Council; and building corporate partnerships in Asia for CARE International. He also designed an international trade education program at the high school level for the Washington Council on International Trade. He travels extensively throughout Asia working with senior business, government, and non-profit organization officials. He is a member of the US Committee for Pacific Economic Cooperation, the Pacific Council for International Policy, the Washington State China Relations Council, and the World Affairs Council. He is a founding member of the Board and Executive Committee of the Washington Council on International Trade. Steve is also part owner and General Manager of International Marine Management, Inc. This company represents Bruckmann and Blue Star yachts in Western North America and Christensen Yachts in Asia. |
