Michelle is a Senior Organizational Development Consultant for Washington Mutual, currently working on projects related to executive development and culture. She recently implemented an enterprise-wide on-boarding process impacting approximately 1,500 new employees each month. Michelle worked for the Boeing Company in Strategy, Marketing, and Relationship Management, designing and implementing tools for managers to focus on on-the-job leadership development. As a Freelance Organization Development Consultant and Facilitator, Michelle specialized in organizational development and change consultation, and leadership and team development. She helped organizations with company vision, execution strategies, consensus building, employee issues, and career development. She also conducted individual coaching sessions focusing on management skills, with an emphasis on communication, goal-setting, and realizing individual and team potential. Michelle was also Human Resources Strategist for local architecture, design, and construction company J.A.S. Design Build, Inc., where she designed and implemented HR processes, including employee performance evaluations, post-project reviews, and new employee orientation. She also conducted company-wide needs assessments and coached the management team in matters of employee performance issues, motivation, conflict resolution, and team strategy. |
